why i upcycle

MillieGoat started because I’ve always loved giving things a second life, especially fabric with a story already sewn into it. Every thrifted piece I find has lived a whole chapter before I ever touch it, and turning it into a bag lets that story keep going in a new way.

As fast fashion has grown, so has the amount of clothing that ends up unused, forgotten, or thrown away after only a few wears. MillieGoat is my way of pushing back against that cycle and helping people slow down, think differently about what they buy, and see value in what already exists. Upcycling feels like the perfect mix of creativity, sustainability, and adventure, and it’s something anyone can try.
